What Does It Cover?

The Convenio Especial covers the basic public healthcare service package. This includes essential healthcare services provided by the Spanish National Health System. However, it’s important to note that supplementary items, such as outpatient prescriptions, orthopedic items, dietary products, and non-urgent medical transport, are not included in the same way. Patients may need to pay for these services out of pocket.

Monthly Fees

The standard monthly fee for the Convenio Especial is as follows:

• Under 65: €60 per month per person

These are the national base amounts. Keep in mind that autonomous communities can increase these fees if they offer additional complementary coverage.
