What you’ll need for your renewal
You need sufficient funds for the renewal period, For a two-year renewal in 2026, the minimum is €57,600 for the main applicant, plus €14,400 for each dependent. A couple therefore needs €72,000.
You can show suitable savings or a reliable source of regular income, with evidence covering the renewal period.
Continuing healthcare cover and evidence that you have actually lived in Spain for more than 183 days during the calendar year.
Have your full valid passport, current TIE, financial and healthcare documents and travel dates ready.

Children of compulsory school age must be enrolled in school. If children are included, have their school evidence too.

Government fees, translations, insurance, digital certificates, tax returns and external documents are charged separately where required.
